βš—οΈ Mixing & Dilution Guide

Rates below are general guidelines. Always follow your specific product label β€” rates vary by brand and application site.

German cockroach gel bait
Match-head size dots, every 12–18 inches in harborage
Place in cabinet hinges, under appliances, at pipe entries. Do NOT spray in same areas β€” repellents make bait ineffective. Replace every 30–90 days. Advion is the most effective cockroach bait currently registered.
Ant gel bait
Small dots (3–5mg) near ant trails
Use Advion Ant Gel for ants β€” different formulation and concentration than cockroach gel. The two products are not interchangeable.
Arilon spray (perimeter)
0.27 oz / gal
Mix and apply as perimeter barrier. Arilon provides a different mode of action than pyrethroids for resistance management.

⚠️ Safety & Precautions

  • One of the safest active ingredients for mammals β€” low mammalian toxicity (LD50 >5,000 mg/kg)
  • Do not apply gel bait where children or pets can access it directly β€” place deep in crevices
  • Never combine spray insecticides with gel bait applications in the same area
  • Agricultural uses (Steward) have different label requirements β€” do not substitute for structural uses
